Institutional presentation

Centro Yanapanakusun is an organization with more than 30 years of experience supporting girls and adolescent girls who have experienced domestic servitude and defending the rights of girls, boys and adolescents to health, education, decent work and a life free from all forms of violence.

VISION

By 2030, Centro Yanapanakusun is a leader in sustainably promoting the full exercise of rights and autonomy of girls, boys, adolescents and young people in priority-care situations. Through intercultural and transformative education, it contributes to strengthening fairer, more inclusive and violence-free territories in target areas of Peru's Coast, Highlands and Amazon. It influences public policies and private-sector practices, strengthening comprehensive interventions through strategic alliances and multisectoral coordination. It fosters their leadership, participation and representation in public spaces, promoting gender equity, environmental education, food security, employability and entrepreneurship from the Buen Vivir approach.

MISSION

Centro Yanapanakusun is an organization with more than 30 years of experience promoting rights and social equity. It protects and strengthens girls, boys, adolescents and young people in priority-care situations in communities and residential care homes in target areas of Peru's Coast, Highlands and Amazon. It develops comprehensive intercultural education processes as a transformative force, promoting violence prevention, gender equality, environmental education and food security. It fosters their leadership, participation and representation in diverse spaces, strengthening their employability and entrepreneurial initiatives. It also advocates socially and politically to strengthen and coordinate public- and private-sector interventions through strategic alliances and participatory management focused on sustainable development and Buen Vivir.
